Musique en vacances du 31 juillet au 10 août 2018 à Loches
Le STAGE INTERNATIONAL DE MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE, se tiendra du 31 juillet au 10 août 2018 (36 ème année) à Loches (Touraine) et le STAGE DE MUSIQUE VOCALE DE LA RENAISSANCE (30 ème année) du 28 juillet au 4 août à Sées (Normandie)
Ces stages réunissent, dans une ambiance amicale, des musiciens amateurs adultes encadrés par des professeurs qualifiés.
Le STAGE INTERNATIONAL DE MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE, ouvert aux cordes, vents, piano, harpe, guitare et voix, de tous niveaux ; outre deux cours quotidiens de musique de chambre, il comporte un orchestre, une chorale, des conférences ainsi que des activités de dessin, peinture et sculpture et une classe d’INITIATION A LA MUSIQUE pour les personnes accompagnant les musiciens.
Les participants donnent des auditions et deux concerts sont offerts par les professeurs.
Le STAGE DE MUSIQUE VOCALE DE LA RENAISSANCE est destiné à des chanteurs bons lecteurs ; sous la direction du chef de chœur Alfredo Lavalley, il sera particulièrement orienté autour des Portraits de Marie avec un programme composé d'une sélection de pièces des XIVème, XVème et XVIème siècles sur la figure mariale. Un concert sera donné en fin de stage.
A Loches, les participants peuvent découvrir les Châteaux de la Loire et, à Sées, la Cathédrale et la région Normande.

The 36th Annual International Chamber Music Course, the "MEV", will take place in Loches (Touraine) from 31st of July until 10th of August 2018. The Vocal Music of the Renaissance Course will take place in Sées (Normandy) from 28th of July until 4th of August 2018.
The Chamber Music Course brings together adult instrumentalists (string and wind players, guitarists, pianists, harpists and more) and singers, be they late starters, returners or diploma holders. They will be spending 2 hours a day in a genial atmosphere, perfecting their skills under the guidance of qualified music teachers with a view to performance. Additionally, they will be able to join the orchestra, sing in a choir, attend lectures as well as play in ad-hoc ensembles. The parallel arts course is open to accompanying spouses and friends.
Alfredo LAVALLEY will be directing the 2018 Singers’ course in Sées. It will focus on Portraits of Mary with a program composed of a selection of pieces from the fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth centuries on the Marian figure, culminating in a final concert. Singers should be good sight readers.
Loches is lively, historic towns that can be enjoyed on foot.
From Loches you can discover the famous chateaux and gardens along the Loire by car, bicycle or boat. From Sées, you can venture into the land of Normandy and discover its Cathedral.
